SAM is a qualified Pension Administrator and is an Oregon licensed CPA. She is a member of the Oregon Society of CPA’s and the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Sam graduated cum laude from Tufts University with a degree in Biology and later took accounting and related topics at Oregon State University.

She has considerable experience in all areas of tax related to personal, business and trust returns, and especially enjoys solving the more complex issues related to such areas as stock options, like-kind exchanges, ownership basis, and alternative minimum tax. Her specialty is retirement planning for small businesses, advising clients on plan options, helping clients understand the complexities of plans, and performing plan administration.

Away from work, she is the Director of the Greater Eugene Chapter of Sweet Adelines, Intl., and performs with the Valley Blend Quartet singing in the barbershop style of music.
