RICHARD SCHWARTZ, CPA

Richard earned his B.A. at the City College of New York and his M.A. and PhD at the Graduate Faculty of the New School for Social Research.  He also holds a Series 7 Securities License, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tax and Financial Planning Divisions, and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants. 

He has taught at Oregon State University and the University of Portland.  Richard has also owned a regional computer consulting company and a restaurant, and is an active investor in commercial real estate.

In his practice, he concentrates in the area of advanced tax and personal financial planning strategies, strategic business planning, mergers and acquisitions and asset protection, estate planning and investment management.

Away from the office, his interests are collecting art, traveling, and going to the movies.
